Who we are

PactoCode is a digital agency based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean PactoCode. If you have any questions about your information, email us at [email protected].

What we collect

When you contact us

If you email us, message us on WhatsApp, or use the contact form, we receive the details you choose to send: usually your name, email address, phone number, company and a description of your project. The contact form does not store anything on our website. It opens your own email app with your message filled in, and nothing is sent until you press send.

When you browse the site

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they view. It does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you, and only gives us totals such as page views and countries.

Our website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages securely and protect the site from attacks.

The site stores one small setting in your browser's session storage so the opening animation only plays once per visit. It never leaves your device and is cleared when you close the tab.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes and proposals.
• To plan, deliver and support projects you hire us for.
• To keep the website secure and understand how it is used, in totals only.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not send marketing emails you did not ask for.

Who we share it with

We only use trusted services that are needed to run our business:

• Cloudflare hosts this website, provides the analytics and forwards email sent to our domain.
• Google (Gmail) is where our email is stored.
• WhatsApp (Meta) carries messages if you contact us there.

We may also share information if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages only for as long as we need them to reply to you and to keep a record of work we do together. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your rights

Under Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, you can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To do any of these, email [email protected]. We will reply as soon as we can, and within a reasonable time.

Links to other websites

Our case studies and social links point to other websites, such as our clients' sites and our Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will not reduce your rights without making that clear here.
